Tewa Onasanya, the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Exquisite fashion magazine recently hosted fashion designers, style icons, beauty queens, supermodels and friend to the Exquisite Fashion Party. The event which took place at the Victoria Crown Plaza Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos is an event which is held to promote Exquisite Magazine and its sponsors and also creates awareness for some lifestyle issues. The idea extends to all women and men seeking a more exciting life around fashion, beauty, as well as enriching one’s social life. Activities include- Fashion shows (featuring latest collections from up and coming designers), Friends networking, comedy, food and drink.
The event is also held to support Wish for Africa and Stand Up to Cancer Naija, a charity with the sole aim of increasing the awareness for Cancer, possible preventative methods and more. At the event, ladies were signed up for a free Cervical Screening, while ex-beauty queen, Dr Matilda Kerry delivered a full detailed lecture on all you have to know about Cervical Cancer and how it can be prevented. The height of the day was the fashion show as 3 top designers, Zizi Cardow, Estito Designs and Alexander Longe showcased the latest collections which was very refreshing. There was also high load of entertainment from the new sensational artistes on the scene which include Zara, C Cold, Adol, amongst others. Some of the companies who supported this amiable woman, Tewa to ensure this year’s edition was a success include the likes of Victoria Crown Plaza Hotel, Linda Manufacturing Co Ltd (manufacturers of X-pression hair range), Power Horse, Cakes & Cupcakes and others.
