FUNKE AKINDELE’S OMO GHETO SET FOR PREMIERE
Funke Akindele is the leading light of the Yoruba genre and her foray into the English genre has helped in etching her name in the list of reigning queens of Nollywood. Funke sells movies with her looks. She is a producer of note who pays attention to detail. Her fame received a boost after the release of Jenifa. As the whole world, and indeed the Nollywood Industry gets ready for another dose of Funke 'Jenifa' Akindele in her upcoming blockbuster movie 'OMO GETTO', Funke has left no stone unturned by commissioning one of the hottest upcoming Hip-Hop Artistes, BABA NEE to do a Special Sound Track for the Movie titled OMO GHETTO.
The movie will be launched on the 13th of this month in Southfield MI at the Nigerian National Youth Convention hosted by Yoruba Youth Corporation. It will also premiere on the 14th of this month at the The New African Stand497 Central Avenue Newark, NJ
Omo Ghetto is the story of people who live in the slum and on the skidrow’
Funke, Ireti Osayemi, Bimbo Thomas, Eniola Badmus play the roles of girls in a slum who would stop at nothing to show the world they are ghetto girls.
The movie will be released after the Ramadan fasting and would be marketed by Olasco who also marketed Jenifa.
