EX-EKITI CJ, HON .OMOLEYE’S DAUGHTER,OYIN WEDS





Friday 9th April and Saturday 10th April, 2010, will forever remain memorable in the lives of the families of Dr. Olabode Omoleye, Justice Oyebisi Omoleye and Prof. Olaide Oluboyede. The occasion was their children, Oyinkansola and Timileyin’s marriage ceremony.The wedding was grand in all ramifications. From the engagement ceremony which took place on Friday 9th April, 2010 at the Ondo State House of Assembly Arcade, Oda Road, Akure to the wedding proper which took place on Saturday 10th April 2010 followed by a grand reception also at the House of Assembly Ground Arcade, Akure, it was an atmosphere of joy and happiness. ABOUT THE COUPLE
The bride, Oyinkansola Omoleye is the daughter of Late Dr. Olabode Omoleye and Hon. Justice Oyebisi Omoleye. Her mother is the Chief Justice of Ekiti State. She is a graduate of Law from the Lagos State University and her mum used to be the Chief Justice of Ekiti State, Ojoo, Lagos. The groom, Oloruntimileyin Oreoluwa Oluboyede is the son of Prof. Olaide Oluboyede and Late Mrs Mopelola Oluboboyede. His father is a lecturer at the University of Ibadan. Timileyin, just like his wife is a Lawyer.

THEIR LOVE STORY
Oyinkan and Timilehin met in 2007 at Oyinkan’s friend wedding. Immediately Timileyin set his eyes on her, he knew Oyinkan was the one he would spend the rest of his life with. So he walked up to her and made his intention known, but she kept warding off his proposal. Timileyin never gave up on her.In 2008, she agreed to his proposal and they started dating. And after 2 years of long and quality time of getting to know each other better, Timileyin asked Oyinkan to marry him and this led to their decision of formalize the relationship.

A GRAND RECEPTION
The 2 days event kicked off with an Engagement ceremony on Friday 9th April 2010, at the House of Assembly Ground, Oda Road, Akure. The wedding proper held the following day on Saturday April 10th at the Agape Christian Assembly auditorium, Ilesha Road, Akure. After the exchange of marital vows at the church, guests were treated to a grand reception still at the House of Assembly Ground, Akure. The reception was an elaborate affair as it had a touch of class and glamour. The couples were ushered into the reception in a grand way in the company of the bridal train and groom’s men. They chose an upbeat song to liven up the reception and immediately they stepped in, the event was officially declared open by the MC, Seyi Law. It was a smooth ride all the way as no stone was left unturned by the two families to make the event a memorable one.
Oyinkan looked gorgeous in her wedding dress and the groom, Timileyin was dressed in an elegant dark suit. As they danced and celebrated with their friends and family at the reception, it was clear that this indeed was a splendid beginning for the couple.

THE CHAIRMAN OF THE OCCASION
The chairman of the occasion was Justice Adesuyi Olateru Olagbegi, a Lagos High Court Judge. He is a colleague and close associate of the bride’s mum. He advised the couple on the benefits of good matrimony. Some of the tips he gave them include Planning and Setting goals for each other and the family, sharing the same matrimonial bed among several other tips.

SEYI LAW COMPERED THE EVENT
Lagos comedian, Seyi Lawrence popularly known as Seyi Law was the MC of the occasion. He is one of the new faces of the comedy industry and his profile has been on the rise lately as he has made appearances at some A-class event across the country. His jokes are very refreshing and he has become a unique brand with his use of Yoruba language and idioms. This has set him apart from others. At the event, he set the ball rolling in a very exciting manner. He also ensured that the reception went smoothly by keeping everyone entertained with his hilarious jokes

GOV MIMIKO CALM DEMAENOR
Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State was at the event to honor the bride’s mother. He was at church service to witness this great occasion. He was at the church service and also came for the reception, accompanied by a retinue of aides. He was one of the early birds at the reception. Decked in a black outfit, Gov. Segun Mimiko was very relaxed at the event. He was moving from one table to the other to exchange pleasantries with some of the guests at the event. Though his stay was brief at the reception ceremony, his presence was electrifying. He made an impression on everyone with his humble and down to earth spirit at the event.

OTUNBA NIYI ADEBAYO WAS ALSO THERE
Another prominent personality that made it both to the church service and reception ceremony was Otunba Niyi Adebayo, former Governor of Ekiti state. He came to honor the bride’s mum. His presence was also highly felt at the event.

AN ARRAY OF JUDGES
A particular set of people who were very visible at the event are the judges from the high court and Supreme Court. They came to honor their own, the bride’s mother. Notable among those who were present at the event includes; Hon. Justice Akintayo, Hon. Justice Akeredolu,Hon. Justice Ajakaiye, Hon Justice Osoba, Hon Justice Yussuf, Hon. Justice Komolafe, Hon. Justice Nwosu, Hon. Justice Adeyeye and others.

THE PROUD FATHER OF THE GROOM
Father of the groom, Prof. Olaide Oluboyede was a proud father. He was in a happy mood throughout the event. His joy knew no bounds as he watched his son exchange marital vows with his heartthrob. He sat with the groom siblings and other family members and friends who came all the way to support him.

THE ELEGANT MOTHER OF THE BRIDE
The bride’s mum, Hon. Justice Omoleye, former chief justice of Ekiti state, and now a justice at the Appeal Court, Benin, was full of joy at the event as she beamed with smiles and excitement all through the event. She was ushered into the reception ground with a sonorous rendition from, Solek, the musician on the band stand, in the company of her friends .She looked elegant in her Iro and Buba Lace outfit with a matching green headgear, which was nicely complemented with a bold and chunky necklace. To show appreciation for guests for honoring her invitation, she personally distributed Thank you cards at the end of the event.

WHO DID WHAT
The event was handled by the best hands in the event packaging industry. They were all brought in from Lagos to render various services. The event was planned and coordinated by Kehinde Onabanjo of Finesse Event. She also worked-hand-in-hand with other event experts to ensure that the outing was a successful one. Astoria handled the foods, Security was provided by Ksquare security outfit. H2F was in charge of all the various drinks at the event while Shadowze supplied all the Multimedia Screen and projectors.

THE CHIEF MEDICAL DIRECTOR OF UCH MADE IT
Prof Biodun Ilesanmi, the Chief Medical Director of the University College Hospital (UCH) was also at the event. He came to honor the groom’s father who is also a professor in the University of Ibadan.

HON. JUMOKE OKOYA, A FRIEND INDEED
Hon. Jumike Okoya, a member of the National Assembly representing Lagos Island Federal Constituency was also at the event. She is a very close friend of the bride’s mother, Justice Omoleye. She stood by her all through given her all the support she needed to make the event a success.

ON SOLEK CAPTIVATING PERFORMANCE
Adesoji Adebayo popularly known as Solek thrilled everyone at the event with his captivating performance. London based musician who recently relocated back to Nigeria was the toast of all at event. He made a bold statement with his mixture of juju, hip-hop, gospel, Africana and contemporary music. This Stylish and dynamic afro-urban musician packaged his lyrics to suit the mood of the guests.

MEET THE LADY THAT PLANNED THE EVENT
The event was planned by one of the latest sensation in the event industry, Kehinde Onabanjo of Finesse event. She took care of the proceedings at the event and her outfit really did a good job. She was responsible for the beautiful turn out of the event as she took charge of the coordination of the affair of the day. She brought the highly detailed reception to life and also stunned everyone with her beautiful décor. She decorated the wedding reception in a no-holds barred level of opulence as the venue shone in beautiful draperies and lightings. Olive/Leaf/Mint Green and Gold were the colors for the wedding day, so the reception venue was lavishly decorated in these colors.
