SEARCH FOR NIGERIA NEXT SUPER MODEL BEGINS AS 25 GIRLS QUALIFY

As the search for Nigeria’s Next Super model begins, 25 young girls have disqualified for the semifinal stage of the competition.
The would-be-models were selected from a bevy of young girls from around the country at a rigorous screening held recently at the Air Force Mess, Victoria Island. The show which was like the real competition saw the girls strutted the runway in casual and bikinis, and their level of intelligence brought to the fore with the questions and answer segment.
At the end of the screening, the panel of judges made up of a strong team; Grace Egbagbe, Prince Idowu Oyefusi, Olubunmi Ademokoya (an international model), Alex Nwuba, Bayo Hastrup amongst others, selected 25 girls on their poise, look and intelligence.
According to Joan Okorodudu, initiator of Nigeria’s Next Supermodel and owner of ISIS Model, the girls will go through a second screening exercise on the 29th of this month, where they will be further reduced for the grand finale of the competition billed to hold later in the year.
