Fiona Aforma Anuzie has won the 2010 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria on May 22,2010 at the Grand Ball, Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. She was crowned by 2009’s Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Glory Chukwu.
It was a keenly contested pageant with beauties from all over the country competing for the opportunity to represent Nigeria at the Miss World contest along with other exciting prizes.

Internet fraud has been the in-thing among the younger guys who are in a haste to make money. They keep coming up with new ideas and tactics. The whole of Nollywood temporarily relocated to Mbano, Imo State on 22nd of May 2010 to celebrate with one of their own, Mike Ezuruonye, at the traditional wedding to Nkechi Nnorom, a medical-psychologist based in Canada.
Their love story started 2 years ago when Mike was filming a movie at Nkechi’s godmother’s house in Abuja. Nkechi who was on holiday from Canada where she was pursuing a career in Medical Psychology. He spotted her and the attraction was immediate. Nkechi was not a Nollywood fan at the time so had no idea who he was. For over a year, Mike pursued beautiful Nkechi and she finally said yes and then their relationship began!
On Nkechi’s last birthday, she received a romantic surprise – a proposal from her heartthrob Mike and once again she said YES! This time, it was a commitment to spend the rest of their lives together.
After months of preparation, all roads led to the bride’s hometown, Mbano in Imo State.
The wedding took place in a primary school and had all the trappings of celebrities’ wedding- money, wine, people and the paparazzi in abundance.

The Igba Nkwu Nwanyi was beautifully performed by Nkechi as she navigated through the huge crowd and presented her cup of wine to her love, Mike with a beaming smile. Mike happily received it, took a sip and gave her a romantic hug while grinning from ear to ear.
The rest of the ceremony was all about fun and celebration as Mike’s Mum and siblings along with Nkechi’s family celebrated the marriage of their children. For Mike’s Mum, Mrs. Ezuruonye, it was an emotional, happy and fulfilling day. It was indeed a beautiful and joyous occasion.
Mike however said the wedding was a dream come true as he had now join the elite club of married men. “When the roll call of married men is called, I can now stand and be counted . This is a dream come true. I am so happy”, he said.

WHY CHLAMYDIA IS THE MAJOR CAUSE OF INFERTILITY
Couples of years back; Gonorrhea was the leading cause of Infertility in both men and women.However, that has since change as a new sexually transmitted disease known as Chlamydia has emerged as the major cause of Infertility. Chlamydia is now one of the prevalent bacteria found in classic Sexually Transmissible Diseases (STD) and as such, constitutes a serious public health problem. Chlamydia trachomatis infections are known to manifest in a variety of syndromes in both men and women when left undiagnosed and untreated. While the clinical presentations in men include Urethritis, Epididymitis, etc., women suffer more serious complications such as Mucopurulent Cervicitis, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID), Ectopic pregnancy and Tubal infertility. ABOUT CHLAMYDIA
Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) caused by the bacteria Chlamydia trachomatis. The number of new diagnoses has been steadily increasing and it has become the most commonly diagnosed STD. Chlamydia is called the ‘silent’ disease because most people who get it do not experience any noticeable symptoms. Around 50% of men and 70-80% of women who get the Chlamydia infection will have no symptoms and many cases of Chlamydia remain undiagnosed When transmitted through sexual contact, the bacteria can infect the urinary and reproductive organs leading to infertility if not properly treated.
Even though symptoms of Chlamydia are usually mild or absent, serious complications that cause irreversible damage, including infertility, can occur "silently" before a woman ever recognizes a problem. Chlamydia also can cause discharge from the penis of an infected man.
It's also important for them to take the precautions to prevent Chlamydia, and if it's suspected, to seek treatment as soon as possible.
HOW DO PEOPLE GET CHLAMYDIA
Chlamydia can be transmitted during vaginal, anal, or oral sex. Chlamydia can also be passed from an infected mother to her baby during vaginal childbirth.
Any sexually active person can be infected with Chlamydia. The greater the number of sex partners, the greater the risk of infection. Because the cervix (opening to the uterus) of teenage girls and young women is not fully matured and is probably more susceptible to infection, they are at particularly high risk for infection if sexually active. Since Chlamydia can be transmitted by oral or anal sex, men who have sex with men are also at risk for Chlamydia infection.
SYMPTOMS
In many cases, Chlamydia causes only mild symptoms or no symptoms at all. So an infection can last for weeks or months before it is discovered.
Chlamydia is known as a "silent" disease because about three quarters of infected women and about half of infected men have no symptoms. If symptoms do occur, they usually appear within 1 to 3 weeks after exposure.
In women, the bacteria initially infect the cervix and the urethra (urine canal). Women who have symptoms might have an abnormal vaginal discharge or a burning sensation when urinating. When the infection spreads from the cervix to the fallopian tubes (tubes that carry fertilized eggs from the ovaries to the uterus), some women still have no signs or symptoms; others have lower abdominal pain, low back pain, nausea, fever, pain during intercourse, or bleeding between menstrual periods. Chlamydia infection of the cervix can spread to the rectum. If Chlamydia or PID infections go untreated in females, they can lead to scarring of the fallopian tubes, which can lead to other serious health problems such as Chronic Pelvic Pain, Infertility, or Ectopic (tubal) pregnancy.
Just like in females, Chlamydia may be completely without symptoms in males.
Men with signs or symptoms might have a discharge from their penis or a burning sensation when urinating. Men might also have burning and itching around the opening of the penis. Pain and swelling in the testicles are uncommon.
Men or women who have receptive anal intercourse may acquire Chlamydia infection in the rectum, which can cause rectal pain, discharge, or bleeding. Untreated infections can lead to Epididymitis, an inflammation of the coiled tubes in the back of the testicles. This can result in testicular swelling, pain, and even infertility.
Chlamydia can also be found in the throats of women and men having oral sex with an infected partner.
CONTAGIOUSNESS
Chlamydia is contagious. It can be transmitted through sexual contact, in semen and vaginal secretions.
Chlamydia does not spread through casual contact such as shaking hands or using the same toilet as someone who is infected. If someone is diagnosed with Chlamydia, all of that person's sexual partners need to be notified and treated with antibiotics, even if they don't have any symptoms, so that they don't develop any long-term complications or spread the infection to others.
COMPLICATIONS THAT CAN RESULT FROM UNTREATED CHLAMYDIA
If untreated, Chlamydia infections can progress to serious reproductive and other health problems with both short-term and long-term consequences. Like the disease itself, the damage that Chlamydia causes is often not easily detected.
In women, untreated infection can spread into the uterus or fallopian tubes and cause Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID). This happens in up to 40 percent of women with untreated Chlamydia. PID can cause permanent damage to the fallopian tubes, uterus, and surrounding tissues. The damage can lead to chronic pelvic pain, infertility, and potential fatal ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy outside the uterus). Women infected with Chlamydia are up to five times more likely to become infected with HIV, if exposed.
Complications among men are rare. Infection sometimes spreads to the Epididymis (the tube that carries sperm from the testis), causing pain, fever, and, rarely, sterility.
Also, genital Chlamydia infection can cause arthritis that can be accompanied by skin lesions and inflammation of the eye and urethra (Reiter's syndrome).
TREATMENT
If detected early, Chlamydia can easily be treated with antibiotics and the symptoms alleviated within 7 to 10 days. If untreated, Chlamydia can lead to serious complications that can appear months or even years after the person is infected.
There are medications currently available for effective treat of Chlamydia. However, once treated, a young person is encouraged to be screened for Chlamydia again about 3 months after treatment. This is because up to 20% of young women are re-exposed to Chlamydia and need to be treated again. The most common reason for exposure is a sexual partner who hasn't been adequately treated.
The sexual partners of anyone who has or is suspected of having Chlamydia or any other STD should be examined and treated. Those diagnosed with any STD should inform their partners as soon as possible so that they can be examined and treated, in order to prevent complications, and avoid spreading the infections to others.
All sex partners should be evaluated, tested, and treated. Persons with Chlamydia should abstain from sexual intercourse until they and their sex partners have completed treatment, otherwise re-infection is possible.
Women whose sex partners have not been appropriately treated are at high risk for re-infection. Having multiple infections increases a woman's risk of serious reproductive health complications, including infertility. Retesting should be encouraged for women three to four months after treatment. This is especially true if a woman does not know if her sex partner received treatment.
PREVENTION
Because Chlamydia is spread through sexual contact, the best way to prevent it is to abstain from having sex. Sexual contact with more than one partner or with someone who has more than one partner increases the risk of contracting any STD.
Once sexual activity is part of a young person's life, it is important to be screened yearly for Chlamydia by a medical practioner. This is important whether or not symptoms of an infection are present.
In addition, when properly and consistently used, condoms decrease the risk of STDs, including Chlamydia.
Although birth control pills offer no protection against STDs, they may provide some protection against PID by causing the body to create thicker cervical mucus, making it more difficult for bacteria to reach the upper genital tract.
Using douche can actually increase a female's risk of contracting STDs because it can change the natural flora of the vagina and may flush bacteria higher into the genital tract.

GHANA ACTRESS, JACKIE APPIAH TALKS ABOUT HER AMAA AWARD CONTROVERSY
When star actress, Jackie Apiah stood before the crowd at the venue of AMAA Awards in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State recently to pick her award, she felt very elated. However, three weeks after winning the coveted award, life has not been the same for her. There has been series of controversy trailing her.
The genesis of the whole problem actually started shortly after the Best Performance By An Actress In a Leading Role alongside two other top actresses from Ghana at the 2010 AMAA Award. The 3 actresses were named as joint winners for the award for their role in Sparrow Production’s Movie, The Perfect Picture.
Jackie was alleged to have granted an interview to the local media as soon as she got back to Ghana where she was reported to have amassed to have taken all the glory to herself implying that she single handedly won the award.
This did not go down well with the other 2 actresses as well as a cross section of Ghanaians who saw the act as a case of her drawing all the attention to herself alone. This has led to a lot of criticism.
According to what was gathered, in the midst of the heat, the manager of Lydia Forson and Na Ashorkor Mensah- Doku , was also said to have issued a press statement on the issue. The press release issued by Habiba Nelson, the manager of the 2 actresses reads, “We are not bothered about everything that happened”, adding that the truth can never be submerged by any man, and hoped the good within the entertainment fraternity would be the better judge over the said development”.
Following this development, AMAA representatives in Ghana is said to have come out to clear the air, through a prompt press statement and also stating the fact the 3 actresses were named as joint winners of the award.
Apart from the AMAA fall-out, another latest gist that is going around about Jackie lately is the news of her double-shuffle fast game she allegedly played on a certain Nigerian movie producer popularly called Victor.
The alleged fraudulent act which may have a great deal in the flourishing acting career of the Ghanaian actress, we learnt, is now a top topic of discussion amongst big players in both the Ghana and Nigeria movie scenes, as they both said to have condemned her action as unprofessional, illegal and an act of breach of contract.
It was gathered that the producer Victor signed a movie contract with Jackie Appiah and paid her full professional fee to play a lead role in a movie with a working title ‘Buried Emotions", but Jackie was absent on location because of the AMAA event and after the AMAA she did not turn up to the location neither did she return the money.
Last week, City People Fashion Editor BOLA AKINBOADE put all these allegations to her through a telephone interview, where she stated her own side of the story claiming that all these rumors is the handwork of some people who have refused to come to terms with her success.
The latest news in town now is that the AMAA Awards jointly won by you, Lydia Forson and Na Ashorkor has been causing a lot of controversy. It was alleged that you granted an interview in your local media where you stated that you single-handedly won the award. Did you actually sidelined the 2 other actresses?
That is not true at all, I mean you can talk to the TV station, or even log on to the website online and listen to my recorded interview. The presenter asked the question about the AMAA Awards and I answered that I won alongside with Lydia Forson and Na Ashorkor Mensah- Doku. I mean, what else would I have said. I was so happy during the interview session, and I went speaking about how happy I was about the award. The truth of the matter is I can’t be talking about them. They would also have to speak for themselves. I can’t hype them or handle their PR for them. But I never claimed to be the sole winner of the Award, it was a joint thing
But if you didn’t claim to be the sole winner, why then is controversy to the extent that Lydia and Na Ashokor’s manager had to issue a press release to make their own statement?
The truth is that I don’t understand the need for whatever press release which I have not seen anyway. When she was advertising in favor of Lydia in the newspaper, why didn’t I count it against her too? Lydia also granted an interview and the newspaper was in favor of her. She spoke only about herself in the course of the interview. Did she call me to share in that excitement, not at all. So I don’t understand why anybody should be angry with what I said in my interview.
A lot of people are just angry with no reason. They want me to be mentioning them all the time, but that is not possible because I can only talk for myself. For instance, now you are interviewing me and everything we have been talking about is just me, and that was the way all my previous interview went. I can only talk about myself.
Another latest news going around town about you is the fact that you collected money from a Nigerian producer to shoot a movie, but you never showed up?
That is not true; I can give you the number of the producer. He is even shock and he does not know anything about it.It is a fabricated story. Though, I was meant to be in his film, but he understands my busy schedule and he said that if I can’t make it, I should let him. And unfortunately, I couldn’t make it because of my busy schedule. He didn’t take it badly because he said he really understands my case and that he will still use me in his next movie if am free. I actually refunded his money, so I wonder where all the news of fraud is coming from.
Judging from what you have said so far, it’s obvious that this controversy has to do with you winning the Award and there are people beefing you over it?
I am not surprised myself that all these things are happening. In life, when you are going higher, there are people that want to bring you down. I thank God for the people that are praying for me and supporting me, their prayers have brought me this far, opening more doors for me. So I won’t be bothered about those who are against me.
How do you feel winning AMAA Awards?
Winning the award this year brings a good sense of achievement and growth for me .It was a beautiful feeling and I am just so happy. It shows that God is on my side and people are out there watching my works and appreciating what I do.
What would you say gave you the award?
First and foremost is God; he brought me this far by his help. The second thing is the Movie itself. I was totally impressed with script for the ‘Perfect Picture’ from the first day I got it. I just fell in love with it because I knew it was a brilliant work. So I am not really surprised that it brought me this far. And thirdly, the judges since they were the decision maker. I want to believe they know better.
Is this your first award?
This is not my first. In 2007, I won the Best supporting actress for the movie Beyonce in AMAA. I was also nominated in 2008 for Best Actress in a Leading role for Princess Tyra. So I will say, I am not new to the AMAA Awards.
This year Awards took a different twist as Ghanaian actress actually outshined the Nigerian actresses. In your own opinion, what do you have to say?
The latest achievements of the Ghana movie stars are just an indication that there has been an improvement in the Ghana movie industry. This shows that the Ghana movie stars are also becoming a major force to reckon with, and we are on moving in the right path. There has been a lot of improvements in the making of our movies from the cameras, script writing, locations and even costumes. There has been a lot of hard work and effort a lot of us has also put into our job, and this awards have just proven to us that our efforts are been recognized and I am really happy about the development.

THE NEW KILLER DISEASE THAT CAUSES SUDDEN DEATH IN WOMEN
Endometriosis is one of the most common killer diseases affecting the female gender. It has been round for a while now, but little or nothing has really been said about it. This disease causes Infertility in women, and most of the time has also resulted in Sudden Death.
Endometriosis is more common in infertile, compared to fertile, women. However, the condition usually does not fully prevent conception. Most women with endometriosis will still be able to conceive, especially those with mild to moderate endometriosis. It is estimated that up to 70% of women with mild and moderate endometriosis will conceive within three years without any specific treatment.
Endometriosis is often misdiagnosed by medical practitioners leading to delays in treatment, sometimes for several years. Because of the appearance of blood which is one of its symptoms, it is often diagnosed as other terminal disease. Some are even told they have condition such as IBS, painful periods or even psychological pain. In other words these women seem to ‘’suffer alone’’
City People Fashion Editor, BOLA AKINBOADE had a chat with Dr Abayomi Ajayi of NORDICA Fertility Centre and he revealed the Causes, Symptoms, Treatment and everything you need to know about this disease.
WHAT IS ENDOMETRIOSIS?
The term Endometriosis is coined from two words ‘ENDO’ and ‘METRA’ meaning ‘Inside’ and ‘Womb’ Endometriosis is the growth of cells similar to those that form the inside of the uterus (endometrial cells), but in a location outside of the uterus. Endometrial cells are the same cells that are shed each month during menstruation. The cells of endometriosis attach themselves to tissue outside the uterus and are called ‘’ implants’’. These implants are most commonly found on the ovaries, the Fallopian tubes, outer surfaces of the uterus or intestines, and on the surface lining of the pelvic cavity, they can also be found in the vagina, cervix, and bladder.
Rarely, endometriosis implants can occur outside the pelvis, on the liver, in old surgery scars, and even in or around the lung or brain. These implants, while they can cause problems, are benign (not cancerous).
WHO IS AFFECTED BY ENDOMETRIOSIS?
Endometriosis affects women in their reproductive years. The exact prevalence of endometriosis is not known, since many women may have the condition and have no symptoms. It is estimated to affect over one million women (estimates range from 3% to 18% of women) in the United States. Most cases of endometriosis are diagnosed in women aged around 25-35 years; it has been reported in girls as young as 11 years of age. It is rare in postmenopausal women. It runs in families and delaying pregnancy until an older age is also believed to increase the risk of developing endometriosis.
WHAT CAUSES ENDOMETRIOSIS?
The cause of endometriosis is unknown. One theory is that the endometrial tissue is deposited in unusual locations by the backing up of menstrual flow into the Fallopian tubes and the pelvic and abdominal cavity during menstruation (termed retrograde menstruation). The cause of retrograde menstruation is not clearly understood. But retrograde menstruation cannot be the sole cause of endometriosis as many women have retrograde menstruation in varying degrees, yet not all of them develop endometriosis making the theory of immune system malfunction tenable.
Another possibility is that areas lining the pelvic organs possess primitive cells that are able to grow into other forms of tissue, such as endometrial cells. Persistent exposure to environmental pollutants like Dioxins has also been incriminated.
WHAT ARE ENDOMETRIOSIS SYMPTOMS?
Most women who have it, in fact, do not have symptoms. Of those who do experience symptoms, the common symptoms are pain (usually pelvic) and infertility. Pelvic pain usually occurs during or just before menstruation and lessens after menstruation. Some women experience pain or cramping with intercourse, bowel movements and/or urination. Even pelvic examination by a doctor can be painful. The pain intensity can change from month to month, and vary greatly among women. Some women experience progressive worsening of symptoms, while others can have resolution of pain without treatment.
It can be one of the reasons for infertility in otherwise healthy couples. When laparoscopic examinations are performed for infertility evaluations, endometrial implants can be found in some of these patients, many of whom may not have painful symptoms of endometriosis. The reasons for a decrease in fertility are not completely understood, but might be due to both anatomic and hormonal factors. The presence of endometriosis may involve masses of tissue or scarring (adhesions) within the pelvis that may distort normal anatomical structures, such as Fallopian tubes, which transport the eggs from the ovaries. Alternatively, endometriosis may affect fertility through the production of hormones and other substances that have a negative effect on ovulation, fertilization of the egg, and/or implantation of the embryo.
OTHER SYMPTOMS RELATED TO ENDOMETRIOSIS
Other symptoms related to endometriosis include: lower pain, diarrhea and/or constipation, pain, irregular or heavy menstrual bleeding, or blood in the urine.
Rare symptoms of endometriosis include chest pain or coughing blood due to implants in the lungs and headache and/or seizures due to implants in the brain.
Endometriosis is often misdiagnosed leading to delays in treatment, sometimes for several years.
HOW IS ENDOMETRIOSIS DIAGNOSED?
Endometriosis can be suspected based on symptoms of pelvic pain and findings during physical examinations in the doctor's office. Occasionally, during a rectovaginal exam (one finger in the vagina and one finger in the rectum), the doctor can feel nodules (endometrial implants) behind the uterus and along the ligaments that attach to the pelvic wall. At other times, no nodules are felt, but the examination itself causes unusual pain or discomfort.
Unfortunately, neither the symptoms nor the physical examinations can be relied upon to conclusively establish the diagnosis of endometriosis. Imaging studies, such as ultrasound, can be helpful in ruling out other pelvic diseases and may suggest the presence of endometriosis in the vaginal and bladder areas, but still cannot definitively diagnose endometriosis. For an accurate diagnosis, a direct visual inspection inside of the pelvis and abdomen, as well as tissue biopsy of the implants are necessary.
As a result, the only accurate way of diagnosing endometriosis is at the time of surgery, either by opening the belly with large-incision laparotomy or small-incision laparoscopy.
The surest way to diagnose endometriosis is by laparoscopy, an operation performed under general anesthetics, where a small instrument called a laparoscope (a tube like telescope with light in it), is inserted into the abdomen through a cut in the belly button. It is a form of minor surgery. Laparoscopy also indicates the location, extent, and size of the endometriotic growths.
HOW IS ENDOMETRIOSIS TREATED?
Endometriosis can be treated with medications and/or surgery. The goals of endometriosis treatment may include pain relief and/or enhancement of fertility.
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen or naproxen sodium) are commonly prescribed to help relieve pelvic pain and menstrual cramping. These pain-relieving medications have no effect on the endometrial implants. The diagnosis of endometriosis is only definite after a woman undergoes surgery, there will of course be many women who are suspected of having endometriosis based on the nature of their pelvic pain symptoms. In such a situation, NSAIDs are commonly used. If they work to control pain, no other procedures or medical treatments are needed. If they do not relieve the pain, additional evaluation and treatment generally occur.
Since endometriosis occurs during the reproductive years, many of the available medical treatments for endometriosis rely on interruption of the normal cyclical hormone production by the ovaries. These medications include GnRH analogs, oral contraceptive pills, and progestins.
Surgical treatment for endometriosis can be useful when the symptoms of endometriosis are severe or when there has been an inadequate response to medical treatment. Surgery is the preferred treatment when there is anatomic distortion of the pelvic organs or obstruction of the bowel or urinary tract. Surgical therapies for endometriosis may be either classified as conservative, in which the uterus and ovarian tissue is preserved, or definitive, which involves hysterectomy (removal of the uterus), with or without removal of the ovaries.
Conservative surgery is typically carried out by laparoscopy. Endometrial implants may be excised or obliterated by laser. If the disease is extensive and anatomy is distorted, laparotomy (opening of the abdominal wall via a larger incision) may be required.
While surgical treatments can be very effective in the reduction of pain, the recurrence rate of endometriosis following surgical treatment has been estimated to be as high as 40%.
PRINCESS OKAGBUE IS NEW DELTA SOAP QUEEN
It was a classy evening of pomp and ceremony as Orange Drugs Nigeria Ltd, announced Princess Sandra Okagbue, a princess from Ofala Okagbue family in Onitsha, Anambra State winner of its 2010 edition of Miss Delta beauty pageant.
The event which was held at the Muson Center, Lagos penultimate Friday recorded huge turn-out of celebrities and Nollywood star with Kate Henshaw and Olisa Adibua compering. It was the official launch of the company’s new product, Devcom soap which has Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari as the official face.
Chairman of Orange Drugs, Sir Tony Ezenna revealed that only 14 girls qualified for the grand finale out of 350. He also disclosed that as from next year, the competition would be called Orange Beauty Pageant , adding that the winner would be known as Miss Devon, the first runner-up as Miss Delta and the 2nd runner up known as Miss Passion.
The event feautured Infinity music group, Dance Na the Man Thing, Paul Play Dairo and Helen Paul who gave a good account of themselves.
Of the 14 girls who made it to the final, only 5 were left to fight for the crown after appearing in their traditional attires, evening and casual wears. The finalist, Miss Cross River, Miss Anambra, Miss Edo, Miss Abuja and Miss Lagos took questions from panel of judges headed by Data Okorodudu of JD7. The criteria for selecting them poise , skin glow, confidence, beauty as well as brains.
While Princess Okagbue who is also Miss Lagos emerged winner, Miss Edo was first runner-up, Miss Anambra the second runner-up, Miss Abuja third runner-up and Miss Cross River emerged the fourth runner up. Ongoing Miss Delta, Miss Lizzy Ezenna crowned the new queen, who took home N2.5 million, 10,000 dollars all expenses paid trip to the United States for any European country of her choice and a brand new SUV.
The first runner-up got N1.5 million, second runner-up, N1 million,third runner-up made up away with N.5million while the fourth runner –up got N250,000.
However, some curious guests had questioned the rationale behind choosing Princess Okagbue as winner of the beauty contest, saying that she did not deserve the crown having failed to answer some of the questions poised to her and that she is too fleshy.

THE MAKE-UP ARTIST ASSOCIATION SET TO RESTRUCTURE THE INDUSTRY
The make-up artist association spear headed by Eni Balogun of LISE makeovers and Henry Okonkwo of House of Gele two years ago had outlined series of activities to take the association PCMAN to another level. A lot of processes are going on to ensure that the quality of make-up artist on the scene is of high standard, and also to eradicate the half baked make-up artist which have flooded the scene. They are coming up with PCMAN qualification pro exam coming up in July.
